What is a Contraindication for a Colonic?
A Contraindication is a disease
or present health problem that is
not indicated for this treatment.  
The Contraindications listed
pose one form of danger or
another for the treatment.  If you
have a Contraindication for a
Colonic but would still like to
have Colonics a Doctor's note is
required.  It is advisable to get
health couseling from the Doctor
to help prepare the body for the
Colonics so as to lesson any risk
factors.
Contraindications for Colonics:
*  Renal Insufficiency
* Fissure or Fistula
* Recent Abdominal Surgery
* Abdominal Hernia
* Congestive Heart Failure
* Crohn's
* Diverticulitis
* Ulcerative Colitis
* Colon Cancer
* Cancer of the colon or GI (gastro
intestinal) tract.

* Recent  GI or rectal bleeding

* History of Seizures

* Uncontrolled hypertension

* Congestive Heart Failure

* Carcinoma of the rectum

* Recent Abdominal Surgery

* Vascular Aneurism

* Cirrhosis

* Recent colon or rectal surgery

* Acute Crohn's Disease

* Renal Insufficiency

* General debilitation

* Intestinal Perforation

* Recent Heart Attack

*Epilepsy or psychoses

* Severe hemorrhoids

* Abdominal Hernia

* Fissures or fistula

* Pregnancy (certain stages)

* Ulcerative colitis

* Diverticulitis

* Rectal or abdominal tumors.

and the Doctor determines that you
might be in danger in one form or
another for a Colonic, don't lose hope.  
A Colonic procedure helps someone
